Printing sizes, inks, minimums...
This printing process is besides most of the printing machines, so many printers are not offering this kind of prints. There are a couple of ways of applying this kind of prints
to the apparels.
The most popular item printed with all-over is T-shirts.
According to the design we can print:
B) Printing fabrics partially and completing the product after print.
If you do not have more than 4 colors in your design we prefer using technique "A" which is enabling us to adjust the garment easier.
In any case printing all-over designs require giant screens around 110 x 120 cm. You can see the difference on left side of this page.
We are getting lot of questions about are we printing with sublimination technique. NO! We do not print via sublimination. We do not think that printing an artwork to a transfer paper and pressing that to the T-shirt is a good way of doing this type of print.
All-over printing means screen printing here no transfers!.

Inks we use for Allover Printing Artworks.
- Discharge Inks
- Hybrid Inks.
- Plastisol (mostly for additional details with fine detailed half tones)
Working with water based Inks:
While printing with water based inks, you have to be very fast, let's say extremely fast. If there will be breaks between colors, the ink on the screen will get dry and clodge the screen. You can 't use a locked screen because the ink will not pass through the silk. It has to be washed and cleaned properly every time you have a break. This is water based inks down side.
But
water based inks are the most harmless inks ending up with very nice quality prints featuring extremely soft hand on light colored garments. They can be ironed and if printed& cured properly, they will stand years without posing any risk to your health. When it comes to the dark colored garments (mostly black) we have to consider discharge inks you can read below.

All-Over Printing with Disharge Inks:
Simply discharge inks are a special kind of water based inks which removing the color of the fabric to it's natural color or to the white. Using them with pigment resulting very bright colors on dark garments with super soft or no hand feel.
Working with discharge inks has some disadvantages, the main problem is when a discharge ink printed, you will not see the color before taking the garment from press and curing it. That is making pantone matching almost impossible. There can be also soem issues with long printing runs which can end up in some differencies of the colors between the first and last print.

Working with Hybrid Inks:
Hybrid means water based ink colored by plastisol pigments, which is enabling pantone matching on prints but lossing the super soft hand feel feature. We do use that kind of inks very rare where a pan tone matching on dark garments is mandatory instead of discharge.
Plastisols on All-over Prints:
High quality plastisol inks are used on all-over prints is an alternative way. As you will see on most all-over prints are made with a single texture print which is covering the whole T-shirt and printing a multi or full color image, in standard sizes.
Imagine a all-over base printing with discharge with a full color over sized printing on top of it.
